What a week.
Biking with the daughter, wrestling with the son, date night with the wife, and some me time at a GWAR concert. Great Week!
Man, these weekends are flying by.
I had to work a little bit on Saturday morning but I was able to spend the rest of the weekend with the fam. It was great because there were no major meltdowns by the three and six year olds.
On Friday, we were invited to Conner Prairie to get an early peak at a new exhibit that they are rolling out next month. I’ll be writing a blog post about it. I got to be a town bum.
Saturday, we went to the comic book store and a play at Beef and Boards.
Sunday took us to church, a skatepark and two playgrounds. We hit a semi crowded Dillon park and a crowded Founders Park.
Hope that you had a great weekend.
Have a great week.
Am I the only one glad that Friday is finally here?
I enjoy my job, but this is one week that I am happy to have completed. Just a lot of project coming together at one time. Nothing difficult individually, just a lot of stuff at once. Hopefully next week will be easier.
Do you have big plans this weekend? We are planning on hitting Conner Prairie and the grandparents are coming down to participate in grandparents day at The Fox’s school. If we are lucky, he will not rip off his shirt and start singing that he’s sexy and he knows it. If it does happen, it will be at school on grandparents day. Why? Because that is just how lucky we are.
I hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by an reading this. One day, I will post the video of The Fox singing and dancing to Sexy and I Know It. It is one of the video moments you want to wait to show him when he gets to be a teenager.
If you have kids, make sure you spend time with them. Stuff is nice, but they just want quality time with you. Not with you and you phone, but with you.
Have a great weekend.
Many Catholics will start Lent today. What are you going to give up for 40 days until Easter. Me, prolly soda and sweets. I hope that I can do this.
The semester is over and I am back on the blog action. I am happy to say that I passed the class and received an A on my proposal presentation on Furries. I hope to be posting a bit more on this bad boy.
What else is new?
Kids – getting bigger by the day. AfM is in a growth spurt. He is eating all the time and very tired. It’s like he’s a teenager. MaM is doing great as well. She is half way through first grade. Kicking butt and taking names.
Wife – Her work situation has greatly improved since she left teaching. No more crazy parents calling my house during dinner with non-emergencies. Blogging is also blowing up for her.
Me? Got a new job and it’s a lot more work than the previous guy let on. It is going very well, I am happy to be employed.
If you are in the downtown INDY area this Thursday to Friday, my friend Caleb and I will be ringing a bell for the Salvation Army in their Bell RInging World’s Record contest. We are shooting for the gold. We figure that we will be in good shape if we can make it to 6-630a on Friday. For more info – IndyStar I would have sent you a SA link, but their server is down for maintenance. We will also be posting updates to Twitter and Facebook
